 U.S. REGIONS: WEST 
Fog will again be a problem today in interior sections of California as well as the Pacific Northwest, 
especially along the Columbia River. Otherwise, clouds and sun will spread across the region. Highs 
will range from the lower 30s in the Washington Cascades to the middle 40s in Nevada to the lower 70s
 in the lower deserts of California. Dry weather across the region tonight. There will still be some 
fog, but it will not be as dense or as widespread as it has been. Lows will be in the middle 20s in 
the mountains of Washington to near 50 in Southern California. 

 
 U.S. REGIONS: ROCKIES/PLAINS 
Milder weather will push into the region on southwest winds today. It will be dry under partly to 
mostly sunny skies. High temperatures will range from the 30s and 40s in North Dakota to the 50s in
 Montana and parts of Wyoming to the 60s in Nebraska and Kansas. In some cases, high temperatures 
will be 20 degrees warmer than yesterday. Partly cloudy skies tonight across the area. Lows 2-42. 
Monday will be a colder day across Montana and the northern Plains with some snow and rain showers.
 Dry and tranquil weather with some sunshine in Wyoming, Kansas and Nebraska. High temperatures will 
range from the teens in North Dakota to the 40s and 50s in southern Nebraska and Kansas. 

 
  

 U.S. REGIONS: SOUTHWEST 
A dry day is in store for Texas and Oklahoma today under a partly to mostly sunny sky. An upper-level
 low will bring some showers to parts of New Mexico and Arizona with snow in the mountains. Highs 
will range from the lower 40s in the mountains of Arizona to the middle 50s in Oklahoma to the 
lower 70s in the Arizona deserts. A cold front will bring a good amount of clouds to Oklahoma and 
Texas tonight, but the region will be dry. Lows will range from the upper teens in the mountains 
of New Mexico to the middle 30s in the Texas Panhandle to near 60 in South Texas. 

 
 U.S. REGIONS: SOUTHEAST 
An area of showers in southeast Louisiana, southern Mississippi and southern Alabama will move 
eastward today. Sunny to partly cloudy in South Florida. Variable cloudiness, windy and turning
 colder across Kentucky and Tennessee. Elsewhere, breezy and mild with clouds and limited sun. 
Highs ranging from 47 in Kentucky to 78 in South Florida. A shower in north Florida this evening; 
then, partial clearing later tonight. Meanwhile, mostly cloudy in central and South Florida 
tonight with a couple of showers. Partly to mostly cloudy, blustery and quite cold in Kentucky
 and Tennessee tonight. Elsewhere, tonight will turn out mainly clear, windy and colder. 
Lows 16 in northern Kentucky to 62 in the Florida Keys. 

 
 U.S. REGIONS: MIDWEST 
Heavy lake-effect snow will fall across northern and western Michigan today. Flurries and snow 
showers will occur over Ohio and Indiana. A storm will bring light snow to Minnesota and 
Wisconsin. Highs today will range from the 10s in northern Minnesota, the 20s and 30s across 
Indiana, Ohio and Michigan to the 40s and 50s in Missouri. Light snow will move across Michigan,
 Indiana and northern Ohio tonight. Lake-effect snow will continue across northern Michigan. 
Lows tonight -5-40. More lake-effect snow will fall over Michigan Monday. Temperatures will 
range from the single digits in northern Minnesota to the 50s in southern Missouri. 
 

 U.S. REGIONS: MID-ATLANTIC 
Blustery and cold weather will cover the region today. Snow showers and snow squalls will fall 
over western and northern Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Highs today will range from the 20s 
across West Virginia and western Pennsylvania to the 40s in central and southern Virginia. 
A storm will bring snow to northwestern Pennsylvania tonight. Lows will range from the 20s 
in Pennsylvania to the 30s in Virginia. More snow will fall over Pennsylvania Monday. 
A brisk wind will chill Virginia, Maryland and New Jersey. Highs Monday will range from 
the 30s in Pennsylvania to the 50s in Virginia. 

 
 U.S. REGIONS: NORTHEAST 
Blustery and cold weather will cover the region today. Snow showers will fall across the mountains 
of Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire. Lake-effect snow showers and squalls will whiten New York.
 Highs today will mainly be in the 20s and 30s. Gusty winds will make it feel like the single 
digits and teens. Cold and blustery weather will cover the region tonight. A storm will bring 
snow to western New York and northern Vermont overnight. Lows will range from the 10s in Maine 
to near 30 in New York City. Snow will spread across northern and central New England Monday. 
Highs will range from the 20s in northern New England to 40 in New York City.
