U.S. REGIONS: WEST 
Rain will continue in parts of Washington today. The Bitterroots of Idaho will have some snow and 
flurries. Oregon, Nevada and California will be dry with sun and a few clouds. Offshore flow will 
continue to warm Southern California. Highs will range from the 30s in the Idaho mountains to the 
middle 80s in Southern California. The Pacific Northwest will be mostly cloudy with scattered rain 
and snow showers tonight and into Wednesday. The rest of the region will be tranquil. Highs Wednesday 
will range from the 50s over Washington to the 80s with pockets of 90s in Southern California. 

U.S. REGIONS: ROCKIES/PLAINS 
Snow and flurries will continue to blanket parts of the Bitterroot chain of Montana and Idaho today, 
but the rest of the region will be dry with sunshine and patchy clouds. Highs will range from the 30s 
and 40s in western Montana to the 50s in southern Utah and Kansas. Partly to mostly cloudy over much 
of the region tonight. A few flurries in western Montana. On Wednesday, a high pressure system will 
provide tranquil weather across the region with some sunshine. Highs will range from the 40s in the 
higher elevations of the Rockies to the 60s across Kansas. 

 U.S. REGIONS: SOUTHWEST 
High pressure will settle in over Texas today, providing plenty of sunshine and lighter winds across 
the region. It will turn a bit cooler over southern Texas. Highs will range from the 50s in northern 
New Mexico to the 70s over southern Texas and southern Arizona. Mainly clear tonight. Plenty of 
sunshine Wednesday with much of the region under high pressure. Highs on Wednesday will range from 
the 50s over northern Arizona and northern New Mexico to the 80s in southwestern Arizona. 

 U.S. REGIONS: SOUTHEAST 
Clouds and a stray shower or two will accompany a cold front through the southern Appalachians to 
the Mississippi Delta today. It will be dry nearly everywhere else with at least some sunshine. 
Highs will range from the 50s over the north to the 70s across Florida. Partly cloudy for much of 
the region tonight with sunshine on Wednesday. A cold front will stall along the Gulf Coast 
generating a few showers and thunderstorms from coastal Mississippi to Florida. Highs will 
range from the 50s in eastern Kentucky to the 80s in southern Florida. 
 
U.S. REGIONS: MIDWEST 
Brisk with a mixture of clouds and sunshine from the western Great Lakes to Iowa and Minnesota 
today. A few showers will dampen the eastern lakes, especially in the morning. Highs will range 
from the 30s over northern Minnesota to the 50s across much of the western and southern parts 
of the region. Partly cloudy tonight across the region. On Wednesday, clouds and some sunshine 
will linger around the Great Lakes. A cold front will bring a few rain and snow showers to the 
eastern Dakotas and northern Minnesota as well as gusty west-northwest winds. Highs will range 
from the 30s in northern Minnesota to the 60s in southern Illinois. 

U.S. REGIONS: MID-ATLANTIC 
A mixture of clouds and sunshine will fill the sky across the Piedmont today. Back toward the 
Appalachians and west of the mountains, clouds will thicken, and a couple of showers will occur, 
especially during the afternoon. Highs will range from the 40s in Pennsylvania to the 60s in 
southeast Virginia. A few lingering showers over the east this evening; otherwise, partly cloudy 
tonight across the region. On Wednesday, it will be partly sunny with a pleasant afternoon. 
Highs will range from the 40s in northwest Pennsylvania to the 60s in eastern Virginia. 

U.S. REGIONS: NORTHEAST 
Any sunshine in eastern parts of the region today will give way to afternoon clouds. Clouds 
across the west will thicken, and a few rain and snow showers will move in, especially in the 
afternoon. Highs will range from the 30s in northwest Maine to 50 degrees in New York City. 
Mostly cloudy tonight with flurries over New England. On Wednesday, the region will have a 
mixture of clouds and sunshine. Highs will range from the 30s in northwest Maine to the 50s 
from Boston on southward to New York City.
