 U.S. REGIONS: WEST 
Low clouds and fog will shroud portions of the immediate West Coast Tuesday night. The rest of the region 
will have either a clear or partly cloudy sky. It will turn chilly in the southern deserts again.   

 U.S. REGIONS: ROCKIES/PLAINS 
Snow will fall in much of the higher terrain of Wyoming Tuesday night, accumulating as much as a foot 
in some locations. Showers and a thunderstorm or two will move through Kansas and Nebraska. 
Partly cloudy and cold in the far north. Lows ranging from the 10s in the Bitterroot mountains to the 60s 
in eastern Kansas. Snow will continue to fall in the central Rockies Wednesday. A few showers and 
thunderstorms will dampen eastern Nebraska and Kansas. Showers will push through parts of Utah. 
Chilly despite some sunshine in the northern Rockies and the Dakotas. Highs ranging from the 30s in the 
Rockies to the 80s in southeastern Kansas. 

 U.S. REGIONS: SOUTHWEST 
Clear to partly cloudy across the southern part of the region Tuesday night. Clouds and a few showers 
will sink southward into northern parts of Arizona and New Mexico. Low temperatures will range from 
the 30s in the higher elevations to the 70s in eastern Texas. A cold front will move through Arizona 
Wednesday, reinforcing the already cooler-than-normal air across the region. It will be windy, as well, 
in parts of New Mexico. One or two spots may have a shower. Warm, humid air will blanket Texas with a 
thunderstorm or two over the northern panhandle. Highs from the 50s in northern Arizona to the 90s in 
East Texas. 

 U.S. REGIONS: SOUTHEAST 
Other than spotty showers in the Appalachians, much of the region will be dry and muggy Tuesday night 
under a clear to partly cloudy sky. 
 
U.S. REGIONS: MIDWEST 
Low pressure will ride northeastward along a front stretching from Iowa to northern Lower Michigan 
Tuesday night. This will cause a few showers and thunderstorms. Cooler, drier air will move into 
Minnesota and northern Wisconsin, but it will remain dry and warm in the Ohio Valley. Lows from 
the 30s in Minnesota to the 60s in the Ohio Valley. Wednesday, showers thunderstorms are on tap 
from Michigan to Missouri. 

U.S. REGIONS: MID-ATLANTIC 
Mainly dry across the region Tuesday night under a partly cloudy sky. However, there can be a stray 
shower in southern West Virginia or far northwestern Pennsylvania toward daybreak. Low temperatures 
will be mostly in the 60s. A couple of showers will dampen areas across northern Pennsylvania Wednesday, 
but most of the rest of the region will have clouds and sunshine. It will be unusually warm with high 
temperatures ranging from the 70s in the Appalachians to the 80s elsewhere. 

 U.S. REGIONS: NORTHEAST 
Most of the region will be dry Tuesday night, but clouds will thicken across western New York and 
New England with a couple of showers possible by daybreak. Lows will range from the 50s in northern 
New England to the 60s in New York state. Showers and thunderstorms will move across the western 
part of the region during the day Wednesday. Some sunshine and warmth over southern New England, 
but a few showers and a thunderstorm are possible late in the day. Highs from the 60s in northern 
Maine to the 80s in southern New England.
