 U.S. REGIONS: WEST 
Aside from a couple of showers in northeast Nevada, most of the region will have at least partial sunshine 
Tuesday. It will be cooler than normal with high temperatures ranging from the 40s in the northern Cascades 
to the 80s in the low deserts of southeastern California. Tuesday night, the region will have clear to 
partly cloudy skies. Low clouds will blanket some coastal areas. Lows from 30s in the mountains to 80s in 
the deserts of southeast California. The entire region will have some sunshine on Wednesday, except
 eastern Nevada where some snow is possible in the higher terrain. Highs from 50s in the Cascades to 
80s in Southern California. 

U.S. REGIONS: ROCKIES/PLAINS 
Showers and thunderstorms will affect the central and northern Plains as well as portions of the central
 Rockies Tuesday. Snow showers will occur in the Bitterroot Mountains, but northern Montana will become 
dry. Highs will range from the 30s in the northern Rockies to near 90 in southeastern Kansas. Snow will 
fall in northern Wyoming on Tuesday night. Showers will affect parts of Kansas and southern Nebraska. 
Skies will be partly cloudy elsewhere. 

 U.S. REGIONS: SOUTHWEST 
Other than a few thunderstorms over parts of New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma, Tuesday will have some 
sunshine across the region. The west will be cooler than normal with highs from the 60s to the 80s, 
but the east will be quite warm with highs in the 80s and 90s. Skies will partly cloudy in much of 
the region Tuesday night. There will be some cloudy areas in Arizona. 

 U.S. REGIONS: SOUTHEAST 
Tuesday, the entire area will have some sunshine. A couple of showers and thunderstorms will occur, 
especially over the Florida Peninsula. Highs will range from the 70s in the Smoky Mountains to the 
90s in parts of the Florida Peninsula. The region will have clear to partly cloudy skies Tuesday night.
 A couple of showers will affect the Appalachians. Lows in the 60s, except 70s in Florida. The region 
will be quite warm with some sunshine on Wednesday. A couple showers will affect the central 
Appalachians. Highs from the 70s in the mountains of West Virginia to 90s in much of Florida. 

 U.S. REGIONS: MIDWEST 
Tuesday, low pressure forming along a cold front will trigger thunderstorms from the Great Lakes to 
Iowa and Missouri. The rest of the region will have some sunshine and unseasonable warmth. Highs will
 range from the 50s in northwestern Minnesota to the upper 80s in the Ohio Valley. Tuesday night, 
showers and thunderstorms will occur from the Great Lakes to the central Plains. The Ohio Valley will 
be partly cloudy. Lows from 30s in northern Minnesota to 60s in the Ohio Valley. Wednesday, showers 
thunderstorms will occur from Michigan to Missouri. The upper Mississippi Valley will have some 
sunshine. Highs from 50s in northwest Minnesota to 90s in southern Illinois. 

 U.S. REGIONS: MID-ATLANTIC 
Warm air will be transported by southwesterly winds into the region Tuesday. High pressure offshore 
will provide at least some sunshine. Afternoon high temperatures will range from the 70s in the 
Appalachians to the 80s elsewhere. Skies will be partly cloudy across the region Tuesday night, 
although a couple of showers will affect southern West Virginia. Lows in the 60s. Wednesday, 
showers will affect the northern portion of the region. Virginia will have some sunshine. 
Highs from 70s in the Appalachians to 80s elsewhere. 

 U.S. REGIONS: NORTHEAST 
Other than a few sprinkles in northern Maine on Tuesday, high pressure to the south will provide 
some sunshine across the region. High temperatures will range from the 70s in the Adirondacks 
and northern New England to the 80s in southern New England and western New York. Showers will 
occur in New York state Tuesday night. The rest of the area will have partly cloudy skies. Lows 
from 50s in northern New England to 60s in New York. Wednesday, much of the region will experience 
showers. A couple thunderstorms will affect the region as well. Highs from 60s in northern Maine to 
80s in southern New England.
