Patchy rain in Northern Ireland, western Wales, southwest England and Scotland. Fog could linger 
in parts of the south. Otherwise largely dry with some sunny intervals. Risk of showers clipping 
eastern Channel coast. 

Monday night
Patchy rain persisting across Northern Ireland, western Wales, southwest England and west Scotland. 
Elsewhere some clear periods, these leading to fog and low cloud forming in places. Wind strengthening 
in northwest.

OUTLOOK

Tuesday
Patchy rain in west dying away, but further rain into Northern Ireland and the southwest later on. 
Low cloud lingering in places, otherwise some sunny intervals. Southeasterly winds generally increasing, 
gales in places. 

Wednesday
After early brightness in the east, rain, already in the west, will spread east to all parts. 
The rain patchy in the southeast. Drier conditions following, although further rain into the west 
later.
