U.S. REGIONS: WEST 
Showers will affect Washington and Oregon today. It will be quite cool with highs only in the 
50s and 60s. Low clouds will give way to some sunshine along the California coast. It will be 
mostly sunny elsewhere. Highs will range from the 60s along the coast to the 90s in the low 
deserts. The region will have clear to partly cloudy skies tonight. Lows will range from the 
30s in the mountains to the 60s in Southern California. Tuesday, a couple of showers will 
occur in northeast Nevada. The rest of the region will have some sunshine. Highs from the 
40s in the northern Cascades to the 90s in the low deserts of southeast California. 

  U.S. REGIONS: ROCKIES/PLAINS 
It will be windy and chilly over the northern Rockies from Montana to Wyoming today, with a 
few rain and snow showers. A cold front will move through the central Rockies and northern 
Plains with spotty showers. Remaining warm in the southern Plains. Highs will range from the 
40s in the northern mountains to the 80s in much of Kansas. Flurries will spread across the 
northern Rockies while showers and thunderstorms affect part of the Plains tonight. 
 
 U.S. REGIONS: SOUTHWEST 
Sunshine will mix with some afternoon clouds today. There might even be a thunderstorm in 
parts of New Mexico during the late afternoon or evening. High temperatures will range from 
the 60s in the mountains to the 90s in the southern deserts. Skies will be clear to partly 
cloudy tonight in much of the region, but a few thunderstorms will affect New Mexico and 
Texas. 

U.S. REGIONS: SOUTHEAST 
Warm and humid across the region today with a mixture of clouds and sunshine. There is a 
chance of a shower or thunderstorm, especially from Georgia and Alabama to Florida. Highs 
will range from the 70s in the mountains of North Carolina to the 90s in Florida. A few 
thunderstorms will affect the Florida Peninsula tonight. The rest of the region will 
have partly cloudy skies. 


 U.S. REGIONS: MIDWEST 
Today will bring dry and partly sunny weather in the Ohio Valley, but spotty thunderstorms 
could affect parts of Iowa, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It will be 
abnormally warm with highs ranging from the 60s in the north to the 80s in the south. 
A few thunderstorms will occur tonight from the Great Lakes to Iowa. The Ohio Valley 
will be partly cloudy. 

 U.S. REGIONS: MID-ATLANTIC 
Fog will burn off quickly this morning, yielding plenty of sunshine for the midday and 
afternoon. The afternoon will turn out pleasantly warm with high temperatures ranging 
from the 70s in northern Pennsylvania to the 80s in parts of Virginia. Skies will 
remain partly cloudy tonight. More fog will blanket parts of the region toward morning. 

 U.S. REGIONS: NORTHEAST 
Clouds will dim sunshine across the western half of the region today, but the rest of the 
region will have at least partial sunshine. It will turn milder in the south. High 
temperatures will range from the 60s in northern Maine to the 70s in southwestern New York. 
The entire region will have partly cloudy skies tonight. Lows in the 50s, except for some 60s 
along the coast and in extreme western New York. Other than a few sprinkles in northern Maine 
on Tuesday, the region will have another day of sunshine. Highs from the 70s in northern New 
England to the 80s in southern New England.
