Wednesday night
Heavy rain and strong winds clearing east. Thereafter, broken cloud, but heavy, locally thundery showers 
will continue near southern and western coasts, a few blowing well inland on brisk southerly winds. 

Thursday
Sunny spells, but heavy and perhaps thundery showers around southern and western coasts will develop further 
inland, a few eastern areas staying dry. Shetland remaining wet and windy. Mostly mild.

Friday
Sunny spells, but also further showers, especially in the south during the morning when they may be heavy. 
Most places becoming dry by evening and with winds easing, fog patches will form quickly after dark. 

Saturday
A foggy start for many, this fog slow to clear in the east, but will brighten for a time in places. 
Weakening band of rain spreading southeast, becoming windy for a time in the north.
